Supercharger Oil: Maintenance and Fluid Level Instructions

This product is special synthetic lubricant oil for superchargers. Please note: We are not selling a supercharger unit. These instructions are provided to help you properly use this oil in your supercharger.

Pre-Operation Instructions:

If your supercharger is new, it typically comes pre-filled with synthetic lubricant oil and does not require additional fluid. However, a fluid level check is necessary prior to operation.

Before operating the supercharger or after installing it on the vehicle:

• Remove the factory-installed flat-head brass shipping plug (NOT the dipstick) from the top of the supercharger case.
• Replace the shipping plug with the supplied vented plug.
• Do not operate the supercharger without the vented plug installed.

Fluid Level Checking Procedure:

• Ensure the 0.06″ copper sealing washer is properly positioned on the base of the dipstick.
• Thread the clean dipstick into the unit until it is fully seated.
• Remove the dipstick and inspect the fluid level:
• The fluid should register within the crosshatched area on the dipstick.
• Do not overfill. Drain any excess fluid if the level exceeds the maximum.

Supercharger Fluid Maintenance Schedule:

• Initial Fluid Change: Perform the first fluid change at 2,500 miles.
• Subsequent Changes: Replace the fluid every 7,500 miles after the initial change.

Steps for Fluid Replacement:

• Drain the old fluid.
• Refill the unit with 4 oz of this synthetic lubricant fluid.
• Verify the correct oil level using the dipstick.

Important Notes:

• After changing the fluid, run the system for 20 minutes and recheck the fluid level.
• Air may enter the drain line and cause inaccurate readings. Re-adjust and recheck as needed.
• Avoid overfilling the unit.

Proper use of this synthetic lubricant oil ensures optimal performance and longevity for your supercharger.
