What are 'Agents'?

Agents are the name we give to trusted individuals or businesses who offer GKR remaps. These are part of our agent network – authorised & approved to provide the full GKR experience remotely from their own premises.

What is a vehicle health check & why do I need one?

We offer free health check’s on any vehicle we tune in-house here at GKR. The reason being, a healthy car achieves top results! Who doesn’t want that? Of course, this is also for you and your cars protection – tuning on top of underlying issues can amplify outstanding problems or niggles.

Will you tune a vehicle with error codes?

Yes, sometimes vehicles have error codes that may not interfere and cause us any problems. We check fault codes as part of our health check and advise if any substantial problems are found.

Can you convert vacuum operated turbo's to electronic?

Yes, we can convert vacuum operated turbo’s to use a more responsive electronically controlled actuator. We’re also able to fit turbo’s from different models & brands – mapping them to work in situ.

Can you remap the gearbox?

With most auto BMW models we have the ability to apply XHP software, essentially mapping your gearbox to predefined stages, much like our tuning package’s
