1. Service Description

Our tuning services involve the modification of the electronic control unit (ECU) of your vehicle to enhance performance.

By engaging our tuning services, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with these modifications.
2. Customer Responsibilities
- You must ensure that your vehicle is in optimal working condition and suitable for tuning.
- You are responsible for any subsequent maintenance or repairs necessitated by the tuning process.
- Deposits to secure bookings are non refundable. This is to secure a booking and to cover our costs should you not be able to come and we are not able to fill the slot with another customer. This is compulsory for every booking.
- If for any reason we have to halt tuning due to a mechanical issue or other issue and we need to revisit another time there will be an additional charge to complete tuning work if it falls on another day. This fee may be wavered if the vehicle is left with us for repair. This is to cover our costs of operating.
3. Turbo Upgrades

Vehicles with turbo upgrades must be delivered and left with us for the duration of the tuning process.

We do not provide any guarantees or warranties for vehicles with turbo upgrades, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

The tuning process involves pushing the vehicle beyond the specifications set by the manufacturer and therefore you accept the risks associated with this.
4. Warranty and Liability

A limited warranty on our tuning services may be provided, the details of which will be communicated at the time of service.

We accept no liability for any damage or loss resulting from our tuning services, including but not limited to, vehicle damage, engine failure, or voiding of the manufacturer’s warranty.

Seeking advice from external agencies or individuals, or consulting with or visiting another tuning company, will render any warranty or guarantee void.
5. Performance Outcomes

While we aim to achieve optimal performance improvements, we do not guarantee specific results.

Performance enhancements may vary based on the vehicle’s condition and other variables.
6. Pricing

All prices are final and non-negotiable unless specifically agreed upon prior to the commencement of work. Prices are listed on this website and on the pinned post for our Facebook page. This is not a comprehensive pricing list.
7. Legal Compliance

It is your responsibility to ensure that the modifications comply with applicable local laws and regulations.

We are not liable for any legal issues arising from the use of our tuning services.
8. Software Confidentiality

The software installed on each vehicle by GKR Performance must not be shared, distributed, or disclosed to any third party.

Unauthorized sharing or distribution of our software is strictly prohibited.

Terms and Conditions for Parts Sales
1. General
- These Terms & Conditions apply to all parts purchased from GKR Parts via our website or in-store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
2. Product Information & Compatibility
- All parts are sold on a supply-only basis.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the part ordered is correct for their vehicle before purchase. If you are unsure, please contact us prior to ordering.
- We cannot be held responsible for incorrect parts being ordered due to customer error.
3. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are shown in GBP.
- Full payment is required at the time of ordering unless otherwise agreed.
- We reserve the right to amend pricing or correct errors without prior notice.
4. Orders
- We reserve the right to:
- Refuse or cancel any order at our discretion
- Request additional verification before processing
- Limit quantities where necessary
- If an order is cancelled by us, a full refund will be issued.
5. Delivery
- Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on supplier availability and courier services.
- We are not liable for delays outside of our control.
- Risk of goods passes to the customer upon dispatch.
6. Returns
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, provided items are: unused, undamaged and In original packaging
- In certain cases, we may accept returns outside standard conditions at our discretion; however, a restocking fee will apply, including for non-stock or special order parts.
- Items that have been fitted, used, or modified are strictly non-returnable unless deemed faulty upon inspection.
7. Faulty or Damaged Items
- Any faulty or damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- Items may need to be returned for inspection before any refund or replacement is issued.
- We are not responsible for labour, fitting costs, or consequential losses.
8. Installation
- We strongly recommend all parts are fitted by a qualified professional.
- We accept no liability for:
- Incorrect installation
- Damage caused during fitting
- Labour costs or
- workshop charges
- Additional parts required during installation
9. Warranty
- Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all performance and aftermarket parts are supplied without warranty.
- Where a manufacturer warranty is provided, it will be passed on at our discretion and subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
- We do not provide any warranty on:
- Performance parts
Modified or motorsport-use components - Electrical tuning-related components (where applicable)
- We accept no responsibility for failure due to:
- Incorrect installation
Vehicle condition or pre-existing faults - Misuse, modification, or off-road/motorsport use
Related component failure - All parts should be installed by a qualified professional. Any issues must be assessed and confirmed by us before any action is taken.
10. Liability
- We accept no liability for indirect or consequential losses including but not limited to:
- Vehicle downtime
Loss of earnings
Recovery costs
Workshop labour
11. Cancellations
- Orders may only be cancelled prior to dispatch. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
